My room is 8' x 13', no windows: what direction would look best for laminate flooring?

What color wall paint would look best with light color laminate flooring?
I was thinking about painting the walls crisp ginger ale by Glidden or something similar. I only want to paint the livingroom family room. The laminate floors are a southern hickory or hickory natural color very light brown . My livingroom furniture is brown with black accents brown couch, black pic frames, black tv stand. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Remodeling bathroom flooring. Ceramic tile to vinyl?
I've removed the ceramic tile, but haven't prepared the floor for vinyl tile, yet. Would it be better to fill in with the ceramic cement, or sand smooth and install plywood first, for level surface.

Do wood flooring need to be different from the cabinet color?
In my kitchen I plan on putting in wood floors. However, my cabinets are also wood as well. Would it look weird if I have wood flooring? If I do have it, do I pick a color to match the cabinets or something lighter or darker?

Remove loooong hardwood floor scratch?!?
I have a huge pretty much wall to wall scratch in my bamboo hardwood flooring It's not very deep at all, I got it from dragging my dresser across the floor stupid, I know 3 . I've already applied a thin layer of wood filler and sanded it down. But you can still see it. What do I do?

What would be the easiest way to level out a kitchen floor before installing ceramic tile?
We want to install ceramic tiles but our floor is really unlevel. It is currently covered with old laminate squares, like from the 60s. Is there an easy or inexpensive way to level the floor out? We just dont want to go through hell to do it, otherwise we'll have to come up with an alternative flooring.Thanks
